The Anatomical Basis of Mouse Development

Summary: weighty but informative
Review: This book is an sourcebook for the embryological orign of tissues in mammals. Its information is too detailed and dense for use as a textbook but is a neccessary addition to your library as an excellent reference book if you are studying vertebrate development (or have knocked out a gene and can't figure out what is wrong with the resulting animals). I also use it as a backup reference for preparing lectures for the developmental biology course I teach since it often has information that can not be found elsewhere.
