Review: This textbook is largely considered the authority in Aerospace Medicine in the United States. If one wants to become familiar with Aerospace Medicine, they must read this text. It moves from history to the many aspects of medicine, which effect the aviator. It is fairly well written, and up-to-date. It is not written with just the FAA or any one military service in mind, but can be generalized to all. Space medicine is also covered. If you need info on this subject this is a good text to purchase.
