Their approach helps clinicians and investigators see the value and pitfalls of quantitative approaches to clinical research. The explanations of Diagnosis and Management and the relationship between common clinical tools and epidemiology form the basics for the student to understand the emerging field of technology assessment in medicine. This book is must reading for the serious clinical investigator and student alike.
