Review: Dr. Eustace should be commended for his excellent and timely review of the subject at hand. This is the first book of its kind and is the standard bearer in the field--it sets the standard that all other's will have to try to match. The book is very timely, covering physics and diagnostic radiology in one volume. The latest developments in ultrafast gradients and whole body Turbo STIR imaging are covered beautifully. The book is very well organized and can be used as a reference or read in its entirety. Particularly useful is Dr. Eustace's explanations of the different mechanisms of orthopedic trauma and their associated abnormalaties in the MR. The images in the book are well presented and annotated. I reccomend this book without hesitation.
