Review: I am incredibily impressed with the breadth and depth of the new, second edition of Neuroglia. It is a monumental work that spans this growing and expansive field of inquiry. I am particularly impressed with the new chapter on the history of study of neuroglia and the expanded section on the role of neuroglial cells in neurological diseases. Congratulations to the authors and editors for this wonderful work. It belongs on the bookshelf of every neuroscientist.
