Review: During my 3rd year of medical school, I used Neurology PreTest for the clinical neurology rotation and to help study for Step 2 of the USMLE. I found the book to be high yield for study before the shelf or board exam, with a lot of useful clinical information presented in the same question formats used on recent exams. The questions are appropriate in their level of difficulty, with very few too easy or too difficult. The explanations are thorough and accurate, with few mistakes that I could find. A better understanding of clinical reasoning and judgement in the field of neurology is one of the benefits of using this book. Overall, I would highly recommend Neurology PreTest for the 3rd or 4th year medical student looking to improve their understanding of neurology and their performance on the wards as well as shelf and USMLE exams.
