Summary: A complete, but difficult reading exercise.
Review: There is too much text in this book to be termed an atlas of surgery. Color illustrations would greatly facilitate the comprehension. Overall, was disappointed with the quality of the text. This book doesn't know what it wants to be, and sadly, does not meet either criteria adequately.
