Review: Having read other similar texts, I believe that this is the best book available on the topic of neuroepidemiology. This is the only book that gives a broad coverage of the study design and research principles for conducting clinical and epidemiologic research on neurological disorders. Research topics related to all of the major neurological disorders are addressed. I particularly liked the extensive use of real-life examples to illustrate important points.

The section on clinical epidemiology - clinical trials, prognostic studies and evidence-based neurology - is superb. Last but not least - this is the least expensive book on neuroepidemiology and far better than the others. Can't say enough good things!
