Rating: Summary: The Best A & P Study Guide Review: Do you want an "A" and still have a life? Then buy this book. I've gotten A's from my first two A&P classes because of it. I have no science background. The assigned textbook is so huge I avoid looking at it as much as possible. Instead, I rely on my lecture notes and Schaum's when ever I can. Yes, there are times I am forced to use my assigned text, but there are plenty of times when Schaum's covers the point without wasting my time, and highlights important concepts as well. So do yourself a favor and buy this Outline...unless you like the idea of going blind over a 50 pound tome while your social life withers and dies from neglect.

Rating: Summary: Concise but thorough review of Anatomy and Physiology Review: I just completed my first semester of Anatomy and Physiology. Everyone had told me that "repetition, repetition, repetition" was the key to getting the grade in this class. Our textbook did have a handful of review questions at the end of each chapter and the CD-ROM included also had quizzes to take. I was doing the questions and quizzes, like everyone else in my class, but kept getting lower than desirable marks on my nearly daily quizzes. After I bought this book and studied from it, I saw a dramatic increase in my scores. My lab partner was shocked that I had done so much better than her. She is a fast learner and typically gets perfect scores. I told her about this outline, she immediately bought a copy, and together we both finished the course with A's. I think it is important to test your knowledge by applying it. The more resources, the better. If you are like me, you easily tire at looking at the same pages over and over. This book gave organized summaries and had excellent Q&A's. At the price of around $12, it is worth the money!

Rating: Summary: Great Anatomy and Physiology Review Guide Review: The Schaum's book is an excellent review for anatomy and physiology. The book really kept me focused on the important aspects of anatomy to cover while reading and reviewing my class notes. I would really recommend this book to anyone taking any kind of anatomy and physiology based course. Everything about this book is just wonderful.
Rating: Summary: Concise but thorough review of Anatomy and Physiology Review: This book is great if you don't like reading long textbooks. It's easy to read and makes Anatomy and Physiology more interesting. I was recommended this book from a friend who used this book and another study guide and got over a 90 average. The other two books I highly recommend are the following: Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers (Vol 1) ISBN: 0971999619 Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers (Vol 2) ISBN: 0971999627 The last two study guide showed me the kind of questions I saw on my college exams. My friend was right. I used these 3 books and also got an "A" in my college A and P class.
Rating: Summary: FABULOUS! Exactly what you want! Review: Truly a great find! I use it to review for my midterms and finals with great results. Really feel it has kept my B+ average from sliding. Concise, to the point, and all the best parts of my text book in 10 pages or less, per chapter. Fully solved exercises could be a bit more extensive (only 6-8 multiple choice questions per chapter) but I won't look this gift horse in the mouth. Giving this to my friend who is one quarter behind me, with my full recommendation.
