Review: I really did not like this book. There is not enough examples to go along with the problems that you have to do. Most everyone in my class had the same complaint. The workbook was not required, but I don't think you could do the work without it. I wish the college would get a different book. I am also sick of Marvin Bittinger thinking everyone is interested in working out because he is. Get a clue Marvin!

Review: It is a great source to learn algebra a recommendation would be to use the Introductory to Algebra by the same Martin L. Bittinger or have already learned Algebra I, Because this book is really fairly advanced for younger students and is covering mostly Algebra II information.
