Rating: Summary: A beautiful text Review: A beautiful text of mainstream statistics, starting from scratch and taking you clearly to a good standard. If it provided answers to exercises, it would be perfect for self-study. Nevertheless, still amazingly clear without sacrificing the rigour and precision of the maths. This must be the first book for anyone who wants to take on probability and statistics seriously....
Rating: Summary: There is a 3rd edition solution manual!! Review: I was looking through an old file cabinet in my office and found the solution manual for the 3rd edition of Mood, Graybill, and Boes. It was apparently put together by Boes and published by McGraw-Hill. It is fifty pages long and answers a lot (but not all) of the questions. Perhaps those who have expressed an interest in the manual should contact McGraw-Hill. Take care.

Rating: Summary: Student Solution Manual Review: The book is very good but if there is a student solution manual to go with it that would be very helpful. The book has very many useful problems but with no solutions i'm never sure if what i did was right or wrong.
