Summary: Very Practical
Review: Looking up the diseases and starting the work-up are a snap with this book. Not as comprehensive as Harrison's, but very handy in a busy practice. Diseases are listed in alphabetical order with easy to find signs and symptoms, prevalence and differential diagnosis. Especially helpful are the labs and special procedure sections (e.g. radiology) for each disease. Also helpful are the coding (ICD-9) sections.
