Summary: Worst Examples & Explanations That I Have Ever Read
Review: As I read this book, I was under the distinct impression that the authors forgot about the deadline for completion and wrote it overnight. The editor of this book should lose his job. He should also be blackballed from the industry. I stopped counting spelling and grammatical errors within thirty minutes because I needed every ounce of concentration that I could possibly muster to read the unfriendly text. I have praised the Examples and Explanations series throughout my law-school career. However, I might actually be forced to burn this one and to pretend that it never existed. The authors omit important details and provide vague descriptions of important cases and points of law. Also, some sentences make no sense because words "switched positions are." The examples and explanations lack substance and imagination. Text explaining an aspect of law is immediately followed by an example and an explanation that repeats the text. Also, the authors used "P" and "D" as the names in almost every example. I am thoroughly disappointed with this book. I would suggest buying it only if you have no other options. I would wait for the second edition. Surely, Aspen Publishers cares about its reputation.
