Summary: Great treatment of archaeological modelling and probability
Review: Although the later chapters are a bit difficult for the mathematically uninitiated, the early chapters provide a very readable and sensible introduction to the use of modelling and probability in archaeology. Those who have been intrigued by some ideas of Bayesian analysis but who found its concepts difficult to follow will benefit from this book. I think it should be in every serious archaeologist's library.
