Rating: 5 stars
Summary: kindergarten teacher
Review: As a K-teacher of many second language learners, this book is full of wonderful ideas for introducing letters, vocabulary, and for building the student's knowledge of sight words. I love the way each lesson works off the concepts of the last lessons! Only problem, I wish the new edition was SPIRAL BOUND for easier copying.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Hands-On Alphabet Activities is Awesome
Review: I am a kindergarten teacher and I use this book everyday in my classroom. It was a real life saver for my first year teaching kindergarten. I was looking through so many resources but I found everything I needed in this book.
I recommend this book to anyone looking for a consistent way to teach the letters of the alphabet.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very Useful with LEP students
Review: I teach LEP kindergarten and I use this book constantly. There are only three lessons I do not like the mini-books for and use other resources. The vocabulary is basic enough for kids just learning English, and the art projects are great hands-on activities that the kids love.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: kindergarten teacher
Review: Supports learning letters and sounds while doing it in the context of reading little books. The self-esteem of the children grows rapidly as they have success "reading" the little books. A must for anyone who teaches children all about letters and sounds!
