Review: A group of teachers at my school went to the National Board presentation done by our state presenter. She recommended this book as a helpful workbook through this process. I plan on going through this process this coming year. I will enter another review then. I am hoping that our state presenter's recommendation is correct!

Review: I am applying for National Board certification this year and I was hoping this book could help ease some of my fears about the process. It definitely did that! It's filled with great advice and lots of helpful places to record reflections and thoughts. I had hoped it would give more samples of what the assessors were looking for, but it didn't really do that. I was also hoping it would give more insight on the content of the 6 hour exam that comes at the end of the certification process, but it mostly gave advice about the test. Regardless, I found this book very helpful (moreso than "Navigating the National Board Process" which I also purchased). In my opinion, every little bit of information helps, so if you have applied for National Board and you're looking for helpful advice and info, you might enjoy this book.
