Review: I thought the book was excellent when it came to the overall process of the accelerated medical programs, however the individual program descriptions were extremely week. I could have gotton the same info out of the AMA website. I would recommend another book.

Summary: Wish this book was available when I was in HS!
Review: I went took a long (13 years after HS) and unconventional route to become a doctor. I bought this book both out of curiosity and with the purpose of preparing my children (now in primary school) for a career in Medicine (my youngest has shone keen interest since an early age and I have encouraged him wholeheartedly). I thank the authors for sharing their wealth of information and personal experiences. The cost of this book is a small price to pay for the esoteric data provided.

Review: Wow! Ashish and Jason really outdid themselves!! I had never even heard of this type of program until I inadvertently stumbled onto a premed website that led me to this book! As most teens who have purchased this book, I have been very interested (almost obsessed!!) in becoming a doctor for quite sometime. I had been looking for this type of book forever! From High School to Med. School is a book that is not only entertaining, but additionally, it is very informative. I learned the necessities for getting into these programs and also got valuable tips on test taking, study habits, etc, etc, etc. I highly recommend this book to any teen who is interested in accelerated medical programs or simply to any ambitious teen who wants to become a doctor (and a good one at that!).
