Quick Activities to Build a Very Voluminous Vocabulary (Grades 4-8)

Review: I have had a copy of this book since it became available in 1998. I am very happy with the results of the many useful activities included within! I recently used the "Vocabulary Cube" in a science lesson. What I liked was that the kids were required to stretch their thinking in order to complete the cube appropriately. It was very difficult, but it challenged my gifted learners which is what I am always looking for. I have also used the synonym activities to lead into a comparison lesson. The kids love it! I highly recommend this book to any teacher! Its activities are appropriate for all students grades 4-8 and can be easily adjusted to any curriculum!
