Review: Good reading cannot be achieved overnight. Young kids need to read extensively to build their skills. Taking practice tests can enhance your child's level effectively, because results are clearly measured. Without feedback, you don't know where you are or what you need. This book benefited my 4th grader so much that I bought another copy for my 2nd grader's future use. Before 3rd grade, I recommend the online weekly drills provided by Beestar.org. They are common in that reading skills are trained together with nice informative material. Your child gets both in one run.
