Review: This book covers a lot of subject area for microbiology. This is a very good reference book. I used this book for my undergraduate microbiology class along with the following:

These 2 books helped me to get an "A" in my class. The second book which I also got on amazon.com is so specific to the type of questions I saw on my test. I was recommended the microbiology study guide by a friend in med school who used it for his USLME exam and found it quite helpful.
