Review: I used this book as a reference for CLEP ALgebra exam. The explanations r v simple, easy to understand. It gives good tips on solving problems. But it can only be useful for reference as it does not cover a lot of topics in Algebra.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Really good book but with some printing errors
Review: My name is Ankit Saxena n I am living in Richomd, VA. I really liked going through the book. It made Algebra a lot more easier for me. But when I gave the two practice tests, I found some errors in them. Here are the following errors :

1. In question 20 of Practice Test 1, it says the answer is F. But in the answer explanation it says the answer is J. Even I feel the answer is J. So plz. have that error corrected.

2. In question 7 of Practice Test 2, it is written that the slope of the line is 1/2 but in the explantion it is mentioned that the slope of the line is 1/4. The answer also comes only when the slope is 1/4.

3. In question 11 of Practice Test 2, the answer C is : y=+5. In the answer explantions, it says that the correct answer C is : y=1/2(x) + 5.

4. In question 14 of Practice Test 2, the question says : the price of 4 tickets and 1 hotdog is $37.00 whereas in the answer explantion it says that its price is $35.50. That is another printing mistake.

5. In question 50 of Practice Test 2, the answer F is : y= -7/3x whereas in the answer explantions, the correct answer F is : y=-7x/3

These were the errors I had found in the Practice Tests.

Except these errors, let me guarantee u that this is a really cool book which make algebra a lot of fun and we don't even know that we are studying.
