Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A good primer on a poorly understood syndrome Review: A superb overview/starting point for those who have (or think they might have) Mitral Valve Prolapse. One of the other reviewers gave it a bad review, siting that Dr, Hoffman mentioned magnesium as a teatment, but gave no info as to the dosage. This person must not have actually READ the book, because the information IS there. I can't recommend this book highly enough.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I FEEL ALOT BETTER THANKS TO THIS BOOK! Review: I was in a state of depression after being diagnosed with MVP, now all the missing pieces are falling in place. This book should be required reading for all MVP sufferers. Thank you Dr. Hoffman!!!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I FEEL ALOT BETTER THANKS TO THIS BOOK! Review: I would recommend this book to most. Very short, easy reading, and packed with information. After being diagnosed with MVP this really reassured me.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A good primer on a poorly understood syndrome Review: Short and to the point. This little book manages to put a series of symptoms in context for those of us who have gotten to the point that we're a little embarassed to complain to our doctor about yet ANOTHER symptom. Always risking being told that we're somatizing some other malaise, the explanations of the inter-relatedness of symptoms, and the suggestions as to how to render them managable not only have given me actual options to improve my quality of life, but have taken my anxiety level down many notches! I'm not crazy after all! And there's something I can do to help myself!
