Review: I read this book the day before starting my 3rd year psychiatry clerkship. It was amazing and made my life so much easier. You can easily read this book in an afternoon and get a great view of psychiatry as a whole. Its strength is its brevity and readability, while not sacrificing much in the way of actual content. A great book for medical students.

Summary: Best psychiatry review for USMLE step 2
Review: This book is concise and easy to read to cover psychiatry for USMLE step 2. The description of each topics are straight to the point, and focusing on the details that appear in the exam. The biggest weak point of this book is that it lacks clinical viganettes, so it can be hard for you to get the image of each disorders. So if you can get one of those clinical viganette books, that will be perfect. Additionally, they are missing some important topics, such as sleeping disorders, but still, this is the best available at this point.

Review: This is an excellent book for a rapid review of Psychiatry for USMLE Step2. I could finish in three days. I have also read Kaplan Psychiatry notes. Its almost the same.I advise you not to read both because there is not much difference.If you want to chose one of them I would recommend Kaplan notes.It is devoid of some low yield stuff.
