Review: Like all of Kuo's other books, this one is good reading. It covers all the important topics involved in Control system theory, time and frequency domain analysis and graph techniques, amongst other topics. Good question-and-answer section. Kuo has this style of writing where you feel he can read your mind and know what you are thinking as you read the book. It's a great book for beginners and experts alike. I think this is one of the best books on Control systems theory.

Summary: Are you in hurry? Looking for something concise?
Review: The text is not just intuitive it also teaches you more in less! For example controllability and observability are left to the end in other texts to be discussed alone; not all other texts of course. The chapters of this book are organized in a very appealing way that you find every topic illustrated with at least an example which is highly desired for first time students.

It can be used as a reference too since when you for example are solving a sample final exam you might be interested in finding a solution of a particular problem for e.g. similarity transformation which you will find as clear as you want also, it is illustrated with an example and a matlab demonstration.

The text is thorough,concise,practical and intuitive. As a student I would always recommend this text as it covers a lot of the material needed in the undergraduate level. Control engineers might also find it useful as a reference. For me, I bought it and I'll never regret that:)

Review: This book is definitely one of the best introductory texts on linear Control Systems. Every item is theorically well explained without loosing the practical aspect on each subject. Highly recommended for people who started to study linear Control Systems at an undergraduate level.
