Summary: It is a great text!
Review: I consider this book one of the most interesting and rich books I've ever read in the field of management and Organizational Behavior. The book has an outstanding topical coverage of the latest developments in the field along with a superb combination of theory and application. Copious real-world cases and graphical illustrations support the conceptual material, which help you grasp the sense of what you are reading. The language is highly professional and technical, yet simple and comprehensible. The Implications For Managers section accompanying each chapter has added a lot of business essence to this text. This book was prescribed in my Orgnizational Behavior course in the MBA program, and it has benefited me a lot!

Summary: Objective, but...
Review: Not for nothing is this such a hugely popular textbook in graduate level organizational behavior classes. It is clear, well structured and easy to follow, with enough real world examples to keep the topic interesting. Even were I not in a class that required this book, it would be a very worthwhile read for a solid introduction to this subject.

Summary: Please read this first before you deal with organization...
Review: Robbins presents an excellent review of the existing theories and practices on various aspects of OB. I recommend to read this book anyone who has not had much experience in dealing with organizations: it is clear, logical and written in a simple, yet vivid, language. This book lays a good foundation for your further inroads into the field. It is worth the money!

Summary: Easy read
Review: This book was a requirement for a graduate level course I took at a local university. Since the instructor for the course was not as helpful as an instuctor should be, I learned everything from the textbook and the coure assignments. Good thing the textbook was an easy read. There is also plenty of space to write your own notes in the margins; except where the margins are used to provide definitions of key items.
