Rating: 4 stars
Summary: a good book
Review: here is a classic of a book. the contents are an exposition of the applied aspects of quantum mechanics. suitable for undergraduate/graduate text. a must have for any practising physicist.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Atomic and Molecular physics book
Review: This book is excellent for a 1st year graduate course on Atomic and Molecular physics. The initial sections cover QM in as good and concise a manner as I've ever seen. The coverage of perturbation theory is also very clear. After that the book concentrates on Atomic and Molecular topics like fine structure, Hyperfine strucutre, Hartree-Fock, and a very nice section on Atomic collision physics. It's truly regrettable that this book is out of print.
