Review: The premise of this book is that all managers are sadistic and power-hungry, that all employees are industrious peak performers hamstrung by their incompetent bosses, and that supervisors ought to simply wake up and realize this. Because of this simplistic attitude toward the subject matter, this guide truly is for idiots. A very naive approach to the topic, and probably written by authors who have had a lot more experience as consultants than as managers. Also the text is heavily laden with "really cool" marketing-type lingo. Hey, we already bought the book, okay! (Don't rub it in! ) A waste of time and money.
