Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A Different Pespective on Data Warehousing
Review: This book offers a good alternative perspective on how to build and maintain a data warehouse. It covers more of the political aspects of the process and offers useful tips on many of the less talked about areas of data warehousing, like how to implement upgrades to your software tools. It also covers the business drivers for building a data warehousing in great detail.

This would be a good companion book to Kimball's Lifecycle Toolkit book. This book (and CD which is included) has several very useful checklists and templates as well. All in all, a good reference book for the data warehouse practitioner (consultant, project manager, architect, or analyst/programmer).
