Summary: Finally, a book on selling
Review: Things that make you go Hmmmmm:
What a concept, "Listen to the customer". I found this book an easy read that related to personal experience. I've certainly gone shopping with my wife and had a salesperson speak directly to me when the purchase decision was clearly going to be my wife's, my only question was "does it satify our needs". Vehicles are a large expenditure these days and most people borrow to purchase or lease the car because they "believe" that it's cheaper. Explaining the benefits and drawbacks to the decision maker is the key to the sale. This book gave me an easy to follow approach to understanding the advantage of learning the decision makers concerns and doubts and concentrating on addressing them. I'm a salesman and it opened my eyes to be more observant to the customer that makes the ultimate decision not just the easy one to talk to. There isn't a salesperson out there that doesn't know a Sherlock. Fun to read, thanks.

Summary: Can't wait to get my own copy...
Review: While recently vacationing in Mexico, I walked by a gentleman who was basking in the sun. I noticed that he was reading a book, "How to Get Rich Selling Cars to Women." I immediately stopped in my tracks and asked if it happened to be by Marti Smye and Rebecca Maddox, and sure enough, it was! He offered that he found it to be very informative, explaining that it teaches "five stages of change" which can really help in the changing of behaviors and attitudes...and not just in selling cars to women. I'm now anxiously awaiting the arrival of my own copy!
