Summary: Real-World Information to Help You Make Money
Review: Fred Gleeck isn't big on theoretical concepts. This book is full of specific information and how-to taken from his experience profitably promoting more than 1300 seminars.

You will find useful ideas all through the book as Fred tells how to create and plan the event, prepare and present your seminar, market effectively, create profitable products for back of the room sales, and follow-up with customers after the seminar. Any randomly-selected page probably has a tidbit of information that will show you how to make (or save) thousands of dollars.

You want theory? There are lots of books out there that will give you that. You want to make money with your seminars? Buy, read and use this book.

Summary: Gleeck is the Master
Review: I have seen Gleeck in action and I can attest to him being the Master. This book will show you step by step how he does it. Essential reading for anyone entering the seminar business.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It?s packed with practical information.
Review: I picked up Fred Gleek's book in the morning, and I could put it down till I read it cover to cover in the late evening. This book has tons of useful ideas that are simple yet effective. Due to lack of filler material, I did not mind that he promotes his other products heavily in the book. It's a bit funny, more or less he says "I am pushy, and if your pushy too you will make more money"

It's not profitable for him to point it out(he does in so many words), but this book is worth much more then a one day seminar on the topic.

I have no connection to the author.

Thanks Fred!

Summary: Arrogance does not equal expertise
Review: I'm an experienced seminar leader (I've trained over 30,000 people in my career) and still got plenty of great tips from Fred's superb resource. Handling difficult people, how to sell better from the podium, as well as a lot of new tips that will help me do even better. Thanks Fred - nice work! Get this book if you do seminars.

Summary: Seminars plus info marketing
Review: The author Fred Gleeck does a great job covering seminars and integrates this with the marketing of information (books, video, audio, etc.). He also covers Back Of The Room sales and even documents how he catalogs and presents his sales pitch for these.

The book is easy to read and the author's experience seeps into all major topics. There's lots of detail here on each of the topics.

Highly recommended for consultants and should be required reading for anyone putting on seminars and anyone selling information.

Review: This book is a masterclass for people wanting to start up, or revolutionise the marketing of, their seminars and workshops.

It is jam packed with advice that really works. No padding, no wasted words.

Most importantly, readers will learn how to maximise revenue from seminars and eliminate the risks.

This book comes with the highest recommendation. I know it works. It has been a major source of inspiration for me when I started my own speaking business.

The value of the book far outweighs its costs. Buy now and discover its secrets for yourself. Then apply the time tested principles and watch your business take off.

Summary: simple and easy to understand
Review: This book is very simple to read, understand and follow all instructions included.
If you do now want to waste your time on reading difficult texts and just want to know what to do, where to do, how to do and so on- get a copy of it.
As a memory development expert I can tell that this book is enough well organized to understand the rules and apply them immediately.
The most important factor of any learning process is "easy instruction".
This book is simple and good instruction to follow.
Easy to learn pretty fast what you need to know.

The most important is "how to" knowledge... and it simply works.

Thank you Fred for such good book.
I do not need theory- I need easy instruction cause my time is worth a lot of money:)

Summary: The Most Valuable Book In Your Library
Review: This book is worth 10 times its weight in gold. I must own at least two dozen books on delivering and marketing seminars on behalf of my consulting firm; however, none (not one) comes close to Gleek's inexpensive little guide. One of the things that I particularly like is the fact that Fred shamelessly self-promotes his various products and services throughout the book. Now, why would I like this aspect of the book? Because it drives home his point about the necessity of offering a supporting line of products and the need to continually market them at every opportunity. What better way to illustrate his point then to continually make reference to his own products and services? I must admit that I am an actual management consultant (meaning that it is my primary job and not a sideline -- no disrespect to those of you who provide consulting services on the side) who's business is quite conservative. Despite the conservative nature of my business, Fred's marketing advice is every bit as usefull. I look forward to reading some of his other books in the near future. Overall grade: A/A+

Review: This is a great resource book if you are interested in doing seminars of any kind. The author is very experienced at seminars and he shares with you all his secrets!

Summary: An excellent and easy to read resource
Review: This is one of my two favorite books on how to actually market seminars and workshops (the other is by Howard Shenson). Fred offers very practical strategies and tactics that really work. Having been in the seminar business for over 10 years, and having read most everything written on the subject, I found that I learned many valuable new ideas that I've successfully implemented and which have greatly helped in attracting people to my programs. I like Fred's style-it's like he's in the room speaking with you and highly recommend this book to anyone who sincerely interested in increasing the number of individuals who attend their programs. A great investment!
