Summary: Dan Is A Legend In My Opinion
Review: Dan always tells it like it is in a no-nonsense fashion. The book is full of hard-nosed, pull-no-punches solid advice from the trenches. I highly recommend it. In fact, Dan Kennedy has really helped my business.
Applying what I learned from his courses allowed me to grow my "kitchen table" business into a nice six-figure a year income.
I like Dan Kennedy so much that I acquired a license to sell his "Magnetic Marketing" toolkit. It is highly recommended.

Summary: Dan Kennedy is really a marketing and entrepreneurial genius
Review: Dan gets right to the heart of being a true entrepreneur. I have found his books to be direct and to the point and have kept this book on my desk since I first bought it last summer - reading it every time I get stuck with myself in my business. He's helped me to zero in on the issues and get what I need with the least effort and in the most direct way. I'd highly recommend this book and all Dan's books.

Summary: Real World Genius
Review: Dan Kennedy has consistently over delivered on everything. His pragmatic straight to the issue approach is always so refreshing. I'll take experience over theory anyday and that is exactly what Dan delivers. I have coached and trained hundreds of sales professionals and If this book was available before now I simply would have given my clients this book, locked them in a room and I could have went and played golf and frankly they would have been much more successful than they are today.I strongly recommend this book.

Review: Dan Kennedy has played a huge role in helping me to be successful in business and he has been one of my success mentors because his wisdom is easy to follow - but more than that it is right on! I started out as a Coast Guard engineer and a very timid part time businessman. Dan Kennedy is has helped to change that. Because of him I know myself better, which has helped me overcome my fear of failure and to better serve others in my full time business. Summary: Get This One Lesson From Dan's Book
Review: If you are committed to achieving a measure of success as you define it, you are going to have periods where your core values are tested to the limit. Dan emphasizes this point with his own personal history and experiences of other people he has known. Dan's presentation should leave a lasting impression.
Once you let this lesson sink into you brain and you are OK with it, the book then helps you minimize the frequency of those challenges by telling you very clearly the principles of entrepreneurial success.
This is not a how to book. One paragraph in Dan's book can be the subject of an entire book or course. If you have the experience to know what to do, then this is a great roadmap and you should make this book an appendage. If you don't have the experience, then you will need to do some additional research (resources readily available everywhere) to develop precise action steps for your business.
While Dan touches on being a manager and much of Dan's advice is applicable to traditionally organized companies, the material is directed toward the entrepreneur. If you are operating your own company, you will need more guidance on establishing a system for maximizing cash profits. Often companies use consultants for that purpose.
You either love this man's material or hate it. Some people are not able to get past his style. Those who enjoy Dan's view of business success and life, benefit greatly from his insight. My clients and select others will receive this book as a gift this holiday season. I loved the book. I have it on my desk with parts underlined, annotated and I am developing separate action steps for areas of my business I need to strengthen. Buy the book and then use the book.

Summary: An ironic title, perhaps?
Review: What do you want to learn about business? Finance? Not here. Marketing & sales? Not here. Niche selection and competitive strategies? Not here. Believing in yourself? Tony Robbins does it better. Management techniques and strategies? Nope.
What does that leave? Anecdotes about people Kennedy has worked with/for.
This is the least of Kennedy's books. If reading it is in your future, use the local library. (I did, thank heavens.)
