Summary: I was looking for another book by this title
Review: If you're asking for "A History of Architecture," youmight as well ask for Sir Banister Fletcher's. My copy is the 18thedition, revised by J. C. Palmes, published by Scribners, 1975. 0-02-338340-2. This book is the standard reference used by architects at Walt Disney Imagineering.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best
Review: One of the best architectural histories ever, written by one of the most respected historians. Spiro Kostof was a Professor in the School of Architecture at UC Berkeley, and was much-admired by students and colleagues. This book is required reading in many schools of architecture.
