Review: Good reading cannot be achieved overnight. Young kids need to learn and read extensively to build their skills. Taking practice tests is an effective way, because they are questioned and results are clearly measured. Without feedback, you don't know where you are or what you need. This book provides tests on phonics, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and even reading graphs. My child used it for assessment as well as for learning. Very good contents. The book is short though; my child finished it in 3 weeks. For further practice, I found Beestar (www.beestar.org) very helpful, too. My child's reading skills are improved quickly with such test drills.
