Rating: 5 stars
Summary: perceptive
Review: The author insists that his blindness (a result of a freak accident after which his eyes were removed) was the best thing that ever happened to him. He tells the story of his life before and during the French Resistance, in which he was an important leader. Being blind hardly seemed a disability at all. This isn't a book about the limitations of blindness. It's about seeing without eyes, and awakened inner perceptions.
