Summary: THE BOOK on Ethnic Costume and it's construction!
Review: This book is probably my most treasured volume on ethnic costume that I own. As a fiber artist, I really appreciated the effort that Max Tilke put forth to actually show construction of the ethnic costumes of the world. From those illustrations I have been able to construct several of the garments shown. This book, according to designer Zandra Rhodes was a major inspiration in her own designs. A definite "must own" for any ethnic costume ethusiast
