Rating: Summary: Thank you so much. Review: Not sure if the author reads this, but this book taught me so much in a short period of time. The coach at the school really didn't know what to do, so we had nowhere to turn. This book gave us the entire process and was easy to understand. Thanks again.
Rating: Summary: Excellent advice; an easy read for high school athletes! Review: Our players found this book to be very helpful. The book's size was not intimidating yet it hit all the bases in detail. I highly recommend the "Athletic Recruiting & Scholarship Guide."
Rating: Summary: A must read for athletes and their parents. Review: The recruiting process is so confusing, that athletes and their parents (who are going through the process for the first time) need to learn the reality of recruiting. This book explains the problems with getting your child noticed and how to overcome them. Plus, it was written by a former college coach who knows first hand what recruiting is like.
Rating: Summary: Perfect Review: This book is just what I was looking for. It was is easy to read (which meant my son could read it too)and follow. The baffling recruiting process, now seems so simple.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: This book made it clear what we need to do. I can't wait to get started on helping my daughter get a place to play in college and a scholarship.
Rating: Summary: A great book. Review: This book was exactly what I needed. I didn't realize how much I didn't know until I read this book. This should be required reading for every high school athlete and their parents.
Rating: Summary: The exact information we needed Review: Though a little skeptical based on one person's review that the book was "lean" in terms of graphics, I went ahead and bought it. While I agree that the book is not gorgeously laid out, it has some of the best information I have ever read in a how to book. My learning curve went straight up and not only would I recommend this book to any parent but have also bought copies for friends.

Rating: Summary: The best college sports recruiting guide available... Review: Wayne Mazzoni has written, clearly and effectively, the best college sports recruiting guide available. It covers all the difficult and unknown questions for parents and student athletes, from how to choose a school, to how to promote yourself as an athlete to the schools of your choice. This book helped me and my son a great deal and is a must for anyone interested in playing collegiate sports.
Rating: Summary: Adequate information. A little lean for the price. Review: While Mr. Mazzoni obviously knows a great deal about the recruiting process and the intracies of the scholarship game, he presents this information in an overly simplistic form. There are very few details and a great deal of space is wasted with cheezy, distorted sports clip-art. I read the entire book in an hour while waiting for a dental appointment. This book is a very good primer on college sports recruiting and scholarships, but due to lack of detail and its diminutive size, I'd be hard-pressed to recommend buying it.
