A Concise Review of Clinical Laboratory Science

Review: Great book. very concise (as the title suggested. haha) ..
Problems at the end of each chapter and book are great
at building problem solving skills and the cases studies were
excellent too. I studied with this book among other books and passed the MLT(ASCP)on my first try. Its a good review book. Wish there was more information on microbiology and parasitology though.

Review: I am the Program Director for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Program. I require this book for my students to use when they are doing their clinical rotations. It provides a quick, concise outline of each of the laboratory departments. My students love it for a quick review before starting each department. They also love the questions at the end of each chapter, not only does Hubbard give them the right answer but also the rationale behind the answer.

Review: This book has VERY brief outlines of each area of Clinical Lab Science. Unfortunately it doesn't have indepth descriptions that are necessary in order to do well on multiple choice exams. I recommend this as a supplement to Prentice Hall Q&A Review of Med Tech/CLS (#0838503403), which has very detailed descriptions.

Summary: This is a wonderful book for college student
Review: This book is excellent for people that are in College and majoring in Hemotology or any kind of Medical Technology. I am in my fifth year of college and when I needed to get certified I used this book and it was remarkable. I couldn't believe how much I learned and how easy it was compared to other books I have read. If you need to get certified in this field this book is great.
