Summary: The Good Advice from Experts in the Non-Profit Field
Review: You probably won't be able to develop your entire fund raising plan from this book, but this is a good, tip filled start to creating one. Because the book is filled with advice from experts who have different focuses, there is a higher level of confidence that the advice comes from "been there, done that." It isn't someone who has written grants for 20 years suddenly writing about annual letter writing campaigns (trust me, different approaches are needed)...each person writes from their areas of strengths (and biographies are given so you know what those strengths are). The tone is positive, educational, professional, interesting and will point you in the right direction for more in depth information in areas of specific interest. My only quibble...some of the sections are stronger than others about providing bibliographies and worksheets. I bought this book 'hot off the presses' and I haven't regretted it.
