Summary: Breakthrough insights into financial security
Review: Multiple Streams of Income by Robert Allen cuts directly to the point. The author shows us the natural way to financial security. Do not put all your financial eggs in one basket of income. Create a mountain and let the streams fill your accounts through wise investments in real estate, stocks, mutual funds, the internet through licensing and marketing. These streams will fill your lake of accumulating wealth. Mr. Allen has coined a new word- INFOPRENEUR - the wise use of the Internet, the informational age merged with entrepreneurial sagesse. The books impacts the reader with its revelations. It's the quality of the money one earns and invests, not the quantity that will ultimately yield real and lasting wealth. Change the filter through which one sees money and money will come in.

The author's insights are extraordinary. This reader is all fired up. It all makes perfect sense. Robert Allen has provided us with a gift and shared the laws of wealth building in a way anyone can understand and apply in one's life. Five stars (cheers) for excellence.

Summary: Multiple Streams of Income is an awesome book!
Review: The great laws of creating wealth are presented in this easy to read book. I really have come to admire Robert Allen. His practical advice in the past has made me a lot of money. He knows what he's talking about. This is the one book you need if you want create financial independence for you and your family. Robert does a great job in laying out a step by step game plan on increasing your wealth. This book is priceless.

Summary: Robert makes people rich
Review: I have been a friend of Robert Allen's for over 20 years and Multiple Streams of Income is the finest book he has written. He already has a over 600 people who have paid $3000 for his coaching course on how to apply these techniques. They already are making money. YOU have to do the work but YOU can build your own wealth and independence and it doesn't mean you have to start with a large amount of money, just a lot of discipline and focus and that's where Robert can help you. Check out what he has to say about my investment strategies as well. How does over 50% a year for the past three years with little additional risk over investing in an index funds sound?

Summary: Inspired me to take action
Review: This is without doubt Robert Allens most under rated book. I have read Multiple Streams of Income and The 1 Minute Millioniare along with Creating Wealth and Nothing Down. I am a huge fan of Robert Allen. He is a fantastic coach, writer and businessman.

In this easy to read book, Mr. Allen teaches you everything you need to know to get into cuberspace and successfully operate an internet business. Note the word "successfully." While there are many books purported to help you get online and build a internet business, how many actually work? I have always been disappointed,e xcept with this one.

Also recommend Multiple Streams of Income for even more income ideas. I also found an interesting website that corresponds with Mr. Allen's ideas. Check it out at http://www.myxango.com/platinumteam.

Good luck and thank you Mr. Allen. I am looking forward to your next foray!

Summary: In my opinion, Allens best book
Review: What appealed to me was the content in Multiple Streams of Income and diversification. Judging by some of the reviews, you'd think that this book was just about network marketing or starting a internet business.

Robert Allen offers many strategies in this book. He shows the ultra conservative how to invest in index funds and get slow gradual but safe gains.

He also shows how to make money with covered calls. Here is a technique that almost everyone has heard of but no one knows how to use properly. The "Cooper" covered calls technique in concert with some research via IBD and other sources is a safe and reliable way to make 10% returns or better.

The internet is here and is exploding. Allen shows ways to take advantage of that explosion without resorting to unethical or illegal things like spamming or sending out trash for products and services that are supposed to make certain parts of your anatomy grow. My wife got one of these and was amazed because she wasn't endowed with that on her anatomy.

Anyway, Allen can show you how to use the internet to establish a reliable and honest business.

Network marketing? Why is it that some people still have a problem with that? Was it because of the media blackout from this industry or the fact that media only reveals the dirt? Network marketing is here to stay and growing like wildfire. I just heard of a company that did $40 million in their first year. That is more than Pepsi did in their 34th year! There is a website that offers more information on the state of network ma rketing today. Even if you are skeptical, you may find some useful information here. http://www.myxango.com/platinumteam

Allen also revisits his startup days in millionaire internship and discloses some great stuff on real estate investing. Anybody who thinks that you still can't buy real estate with little or no money down, think again. How do I know? Because I have done it. Real estate is the safest surest way to wealth available today.

Allen then goes on to discuss tax liens, a safe government way to earn 16%-50% returns government guaranteed! Sure beats that .50% on money market accounts and cd's or even less on savings. And people call those bank instruments safe?

Discounted mortgages are also covered extensively in multiple streams of income. Another powerful and fairly safe investment and Allen shows you how to do them with NO MONEY DOWN!

And there is much more. Like I said, I truly believe that this is Allen's best work. So complete. So diversified and an easy read too.

And even if you love your 9-5 job, you can still do this on a part time basis, after work or on weekends. In fact that is exactly what Allen teaches, to create Multiple Streams of Income. Who says that one of those income streams does not have to a job?

Summary: Escaped the rat race, thank you Robert
Review: While I admire the success of people like the reviewer who precedes mine, network marketing never really appealed to me. I tried it once back in the 70's, had a lousy sponsor who didn't teach me beans and the company I was in loaded me and other distributors with soaps, shampoo's and so on.

That said, what I like about Robert Allen's book is that he recommends network marketing as a choice but also recommends other ways to create residual income, that are low risk and low cost.

I highly recommend this book by Mr. Allen. It's great.

Summary: How to make money, and in your spare time, more money!
Review: Favorite quote:

"Wealth is when small efforts produce big results. Poverty is when big efforts produce small results."

My own interest in Robert Allen's work started in the late '90's when he broadened his focus from making money in Real Estate to making money in general, and two of his tape sets, The Road to Wealth and Multiple Streams of Income (both produced by Nightingale-Conant) have been my companions on many a lengthy car journey. This book goes over some of the same ground as the tape set, but has many more in-depth strategies and illustrations, particularly to do with stock strategies and how to make money on the internet.

I've held back one star from my rating simply because the strategies are not all universal and there is a particularly American emphasis on tax strategy (which is great if you happen to live in America! :-)

Having said that, there is more than enough in here to enlarge the bank accounts of people all over the world.

Summary: I say , I say....
Review: This Robert Allen fella seems about as sharp as a bowling ball. He he he. Now folks he must be on to something he conned alot of people out of their hard earned money. Seriously though I see some of the positive reviews say,"Well you may not like it all, but at least he mentions some good investments like tax lien certificates and disounted mortgages." I have yet to see anyone really give the low-down on these investments. Mainly that the buyer is saddled with any IRS liens that come attached to the property. I didnt see this book recommending that you check these investments out thoroughly beforehand, so does Allen really know what he's talking about? Thank goodness I only paid .75$ for this one at a Friends of the Library sale. Phew...

Summary: Count your fingers and keep your hand on your wallet!
Review: It's incredible that people buy this stuff. I guess a good way to make money is to write a book telling people how to make money. A good eye-opener is to consider the source: Check out some websites about this author, [...] that covers this author's problems with the IRS and bankruptcy, etc. Not sure how much of it all is true, but what he writes doesn't leaves alot to be desired in my opinion.

Summary: A very good book
Review: Multiple Streams of Income is a broad book. Robert Allen covers almost all the common paths to wealth: paper assets, real estate, copyrights, patents, multilevel marketing, internet. He also covers the foundation of financial success - the need to understand and practice basic accounting. He finishes with useful asset protection information. His writing style is upbeat and optimistic which seems to turn off some readers, but I enjoy it. I have found the book informative and now I plan to purchase the audiobook as well. Some reviewers are highly skeptical of Robert Allen's advice. But many people have made many fortunes in everyone of these 'streams.' I have only one disagreement with the author. He believes that the reader can develop many of these streams. A review of the Forbes 400 or any other list of wealthy people will show that most made their fortunes focused on one area that they enjoy doing. I think your money will be well spent on this book.
