Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Scattershot Review: Multiple is right. He glosses over almost any type of "investment" you could think of. I have "investment" in quotations because some are dubious. Network marketing is one of his subjests that comes to mind. Any time someone throws this many subjects for "investment" at you, you wonder just how much is going to be covered and just how much knowledge the author really has in each particular area. Allen is mainly known for real estate investing. So you wonder if he really intimately knows about all the subjects covered or just did a little research on the internet or at the library and wrote a few pages about each(which by-the-by is all you get on most topics.)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Huge profits with Allen's Investment Strategies Review: I bought MSOI back in 2000 right when we were smack in the Clinton Stock Market Meltdown...perfect timing. With much ambiquity, I began to try some of Allens ideas. To wit over the last three years I have averaged over 24% per year and have certaintly done a lot better than my friends who listened to their brokers and as a result are now "broker."My only wish is that I had been more aggressive with Allen's investment strategies. Who knows I may have averaged 50%-100% per year. Great book Robert. By the way I also recommend Creating Wealth & Nothing Down 2 of Robert Allens books that I only recently purchased and will be reviewing when I finish them. Thank you Robert.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Not enough stars Amazon --10 stars for this book! Review: Robert Allen has created a masterpiece with Multiple Streams of Income. So many diverse ways to make money and best of all, they all work! The investing advice is pure genius! Almost everyone I talk to has lost a bundle over the last three years. In fact I read a statistic that nearly $10 trillion was lost since March 2000 in the stock market. Lucky for me, Multiple Streams of Income came out right around that time. I bought it and used the advice. I didn't lose money. I made money. But I guess that is because I followed the advice of Robert Allen and Mr. Donahue and did not follow the advice of brokers (who are really jokers)And I am not just talking about moving money into a money market fund (safe but wimpy) or even the money made on non stock market investtments like rental real estate, tax liens, discounted mortgages or my network marketing business. I am talking about investing in stocks and no load mutuals. I am talking about unconvnetional wisdom that works. What is it? That's easy, read the book. It's worth the 12 bucks or even borrow it from the library. I'm sure Mr. Allen doesn't care. At least you can get his books at the library. Thanks to Robert Allens advice I was able to move from a dying midwestern city to the robust and dynamic Las Vegas, Nv. I don't have to worry about an employer since I am self employed. Don't have to punch a time clock and what I do is legal and ethical. I would never stoop to trying to make a living by sending out spam, pump-n-dump penny stocks, be a paid shill for authors or write 3rd rate self publsihed books that are just regurgitated information that has been around, never makes it to any bookrack, library and are available only via the internet (caveat emptor) or send popups ad nauseum. Thanks to Robert G. I now own my life whereas before, everybodyelse owned me. 1 star reviewers, try buying and reading the book not to mention applying the techniques (what a novel idea!--your welcome) then come back and write a review. Put those 1,000 page 1979 financial books written by newsweak writers or fancy smansy technique books that talk about candlesticks (hw about chinese chopsticks? Italian breadsticks?) and people still aren't making any money but feel so cool because they can talk about something besides Motel Hell, or pc games like Grand Auto Theft. It would also help you to break away from the pc and get a frickin life too. Nothing wrong with horror movies, pc games or surfing on the internet; as long as you make it a part of your life, not your whole life! Okay for fun, not okay for a lifestyle. But then, if you actually read any of Robert Allens books, you would already know this wouldn't you?
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Be prepared to spend a lot of money if you buy this book Review: This book is really the first step in a series up "up-sells" that Allen and his organization will attempt. There is some good stuff but you won't find enough of it in the book to actually accomplish anything. That's on purpose. They want you to feel compelled to purchase some more material...and on and on it goes until you're a few THOUSAND dollars into the "system." Even then it's small small percentage who find any kind of success.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: "Multiple Streams" a New Classic for 2000 and Beyond Review: Robert Allen's book opened my eyes to so many new ways to make money that I'd never considered before. It's easy-to-read, but still a mind-expanding experience. No, I didn't do the real estate thing when his books "Nothing Down" and "Creating Wealth" were on the bestseller lists a few years ago. I could kick myself now. This time Allen has shared tons of excellent ideas on how to REALLY make money on the Internet, info-prenuering, tax lien certificates and a smorgasbord of other strategies that I absolutely know I can do. Even me! Hey, I love my job, but Robert Allen's book, "Multiple Streams of Income" convinced me that I still need to create more income for my future. I will prosper greatly by applying his strategies and so will you.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Big scammer Review: This like all of his products, and sadly I've bought a number of them over a short period of time is alot of hype and little meat if any. In fact some of his real estate ideas can land you in jail like the head of his investment group in atlanta found out. If he's so successful why did he declare bankrupcy in CA in 1996 while 400,000 dollars delenquent on taxes? Ask him to post the actual properties he's bought in the last year.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Got to agree with some of the other.. Review: negative reviewers. Does anyone notice the pattern here? Look at how many negative responses the negative reviewers get. Look at the wording and hokey writing of the positve reviews. And then finally look at how bad the actual book is. It is not a good book at all. Anyone who thinks they are going to get rich off of the advice of this book is clueless. Rare coins??? Come on. Universal life insurance??? As an investment???? Terrible, terrible advice in this rag.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Absolutely A-Maz-ing Book on building wealth! Review: Sure there are a lot of books out there on how to build wealth, but how many really work? And how many are written by people who have already done it? A common problem today is a overabundance of really lousy books, many from the self publishing sect and are written by people who have no real business or investing experience. They only write about it and most of what they write is theory, not fact. It has never been tested (especially by the authors) Robert Allen has been around for over 25 years now. He has millions of successful students and is himself successful. I was talking to a guy in a bookstore earlier today who told me that by following Robert Allen's advice, he was able to replace all of the money he lost by following JBQ's advice in Making The Most of Your Money and/or by following advice from brokers. who are usually broker than you are. Disregard the 1 star reviewer (s). They (he) is a sorry sort who is a paid basher, that is how he earns money supplemented by sending out spam and ocasionally selling a self published book or two, although never offering a refund or even a response via letter to a very unhappy customer. What a pathetic existence! If you want success, go with people who are already succesful, like Robert Allen.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Another Classic "Get Rich Scam" Review: After reading this book, the only conclusion I came up with is that we "Hard Working, Middle Class Americans will almost always be fooled by Author like this Capitalizing on our ignorance of these quick money making scams, this book those nothing but to draw the average reader into his other "Get Rich Scams". Their is no solid information here as to how to go about it properly step by step sound financial advise, however some reviewer here indicate that at least it should be taking as ideas, but even then, the bottom line always will remains shallow. America will always fall short of these predators, Keep in mind that this author (Scammer) those not have any proven track record of making, building or helping in creating wealth for anyone that you know of other than DREAMS of becoming rich. By this time, we should have learned our lessons from past experiences with people like Robert Allen. Invest the price of this book on a nice dinner for your significant other, He/she will love that investment.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Crapatola Review: Universal life insurance, rare coins, network marketing? If these are what this huckster considers investments, count me as one of the non believers. No one should consider these as worthy investments. This guys background is real estate ( and a dubious one at that if you look at his criminal background.) Just how much can he know about investing in these other areas. Best investment advice? Dont waste your money on this one.
