Review: I am an R.N. in an acute care hospital and this is the best book I have found for newly diagnosed diabetics. It's simple, but not childish. It gives all the pertinent information for a diabetic to get off to a good start without overloading them with a lot of medical jargon and technical information. It's officially recommended for pre-teens, but I find it beneficial for even adults. When they are ready to learn more, then they can move up to a more advanced book.
