Review: The many photos making up the bulk of this book (some already seen on his popular website), are presented in a structured way that shows their features and beauty and significance. Dr John Day (know as cloudman) has been practising and teaching about meteorology for longer than most of us have been around. His text is brief, and his style is aimed both at beginners and those who already have some understanding and interest in weather. His chapter on the history of the naming of clouds make up the final section.
