Summary: This book inspired me!
Review: This book was great! It made me want to go out and help animals, which I have already contacted many organizations. If you have any pets you'll want to give them a big hug after reading this book. It makes you realize how lucky you are to have them,

Summary: Heartwarming and beautiful
Review: This book was remarkable and I couldn't put it down. Terri managed to keep the book upbeat and positive in spite of the many tragedies and cruelties she's had to deal with over the years. A real inspiration, it has made me realize I need to do more for animals. It's also made me treasure my own cats even more than I already do, and to be thankful for every moment I have with them.

Summary: An amazing book about one woman's dedication to ALL animals
Review: This is by far one of the best books I have ever read! I cannot believe how naive I have spent most of my life with respect to animals. I have never heard about a natural disaster somewhere in the world and thought about what it means for the animals. Now I can't turn on the news without wondering,"What about all the animals? Who will save them?" I've never actually cried while reading a book, but this one had me sobbing. It also made me angry and inspired me. I was angered at people's attitude towards leaving their pets in a disaster, but I understood that shelters like the Red Cross cannot accept pets. Terri Crisp's efforts to provide shelters for pets is wonderful. She is someone that I would like to know.

Summary: Absolutely excellent, a must read for any pet lover!
Review: This was a book I could hardly stand to put down. I almost didn't want to finish it, knowing that there would be no more stories of rescues until I found a similar book. It's also very inspiring. Animal rescue is something I had considered doing, but I am now very much inclined to get involved!

Summary: Great Book!
Review: Very impressed with this book and with Terri Crisp personally. Very well written although the captions for the pictures are screaming for an editor. Happy with the purchase and very interested to see what Terri is doing now with her new organization, Noah's Wish (www.noahswish.org).

Summary: EXTRAORDINARY BOOK!!!!!!!!
Review: When I picked up this book, I never imagined what an impact it would make on me. There was not a chapter in it that did not make me cry. Animals are so innocent and to see them left by their owners to die in earthquakes and fires and floods is just incomprehensible. As a result of reading this I am a member of the ASPCA and I participate in animal legal rights and responsible ownership issues. I wish I could do more for these forgiving and lovable creatures that the human race just does not appreciate. This is a must read for just about everyone!

Summary: Inspirational Reading
Review: Wow...what else can one say. I was given this book by my stepfather with the condition I pass it on to someone else when I was done. Four days and many tears later I was done and had passed the book to a co-worker. We both agree...this woman is not of this earth. It is amazing that in a world full of uncaring people a woman like Ms. Crisp exists. I couldn't put the book down but still didn't want to finish it. Even now I cry when I think of the things Terri Crisp has done to help the innocent and dependent animals.
