Summary: Appalled and disgusted
Review: Amazing! A how-to manual that encourages illegal/unethical behavior available at any major bookstore. It's like being able to buy street drugs at the corner pharmacy! The author encourages women to lie, cheat and manipulate -- without regard to innocent persons -- i.e., children of a failed marriage. I especially liked (NOT) the case studies where women manufactured evidence to have their soon-to-be-ex's put in jail. I didn't realize that was legal. IMO, the author's attitudes and methods are counterproductive to the advances made by women's rights groups over the years, since they encourage women to remain dependent on someone else. I returned my copy since I didn't want this author receiving any royalty monies from me.

Summary: Dont they already have a sure win??
Review: Come on now are books like this really neccessary anymore for women? The feminazis have already made sure that women have an unfair upper hand when it comes to the courts and can get away with making false accusations of abuse or even "marital rape" in divorce court. The chances are the only reason that the scumbag bottom feeding divorce lawyer wrote this book is so that women realize how good of a lawyer (or rather how much of a slimeball) he is and get his service in court. Its a shame when a man writes a book to further the feminist agenda of rationalized greed & hatred.

Summary: 5 stars or one - depends on your appetite
Review: Face it folks, wake up, there are unscrupulous monsters among us. You may even be married to one (or you may be one!) - either a lawyer who operates at this level or a spouse who eagerly follows their advice. Note that these are the same lawyers/parents who wonder why their children have no integrity and are wasting their lives doing who knows what. I recommend this book to everybody contemplating marriage or divorce. Even ugly knowledge is still knowledge and thus prophylatic ("forewarned is forearmed" is another applicable cliche). A better standard of measurement is that if either of you are still insisting on using condoms to prevent the spread of disease (vs. pregnancy) after sleeping with each other for more than say three months (pick your own reasonable timeframe) then that should tell you something! Know thyself and thy prospective spouse pretty damn well before getting into the commitment/ties that can either liberate you or blind, bind, cripple and bury you.

Summary: If you're drafted into battle, this book will arm you!
Review: I didn't want to fight. I wanted us to part, so that we'd both be happier and be able to prosper on our own. He didn't feel the same. He waged war against me and because I'm "nice" I joined the battle unarmed and completely vulnerable. I don't want to hurt him, but I'm strong enough to put my foot down and say, "No more abuse!" Divorce War gave me my sword.

Summary: mean spirited and poorly thought out strategies
Review: I was shocked that anyone would even put this into print. Some of the tips, like taping your spouse's telephone call are illegal aren't they? This was not much help and a waste of money.

Summary: Guys hate it, can't be all bad
Review: Judging from previous reviews, this book can't be all bad. If there is one thing I have learned from my divorce, it is that the most convincing (best lying) party wins. I am NOT winning. It must be time to level the playing field. If the guys hate it, I love it.

Summary: Outstanding book for women!
Review: Just got done reading this book and found it very informative. It gives women specifics about how to go about the divorce procedure and how to win a lucrative settlement. It has information that the majority of divorce lawyers would agree with but can't tell their clients due to ethics. Follows the saying "All's fair in love and war!". This book would make most men cringe at the prospect of their spouse being this informed.
