Rating: Summary: Too general and cases are too old Review: With the progress made in the past ten year in regards to DNA and trace elements, this book is not technical enough in forensic details and the cases are way too old. It could be entertaining for a novice who's interested in the 'history' of forensic, but for the real student of the subject, or for any crime writer looking for a real life story to inspire his/her fiction, give this one a miss. There are better detailed cases in other books out there. Save your hard-earned money. You'll learn more from reading Patricia Cornwell or Kathy Reich's novels.
