Rating: Summary: A student teacher of students with learning disabilities Review: I used this book in one of my methods classes in college. It is a wonderful book and I am so glad I have it. I highly recommend it to new teachers. It provides insight and activities for teaching students reading, writing, math, and social skills. This is not a book of theory--it is definitely a methods book. This book also includes one of the most important things a teacher could ever want--a scope and sequence list in the appendix. This book also provides Learning Strategies (COPS, TOWER, and others).
Rating: Summary: A Mild Disabilities teacher in Indiana Review: This book contains many excellent strategies for use with students who struggle in reading and math.
