Summary: Solid Gold!!
Review: Don't be fooled by the title. This is not a "how to get rich" book in terms of what deals or stocks to get into to make money. The term "rich" in this book has to refer to personal growth and develpoment. This book is a very interesting insight into the man himself. Throughout this book Mr Trump will describe what he expects from his employees, associates, business partners and most of all, himself. this book is written differently than most books on success. Keeping with Mr Trumps personal style he discusses the subject and then moves on, he doesn't beat the horse to death. Throughout the book the reader will see the importance Mr. Trump places on his personal ethical standards for living each day, and his commitment to world class excellence in everything he does. I found this book to be refreshing in that sense, straight forward, and very frank. It causes one to sit back and reevaluate ones own persona. Very inspiring.

Summary: How to Get Rich: Save your money, don't buy this book
Review: Having been disappointed in Trump: The Art of the Deal, I should not have been so quick to purchase this book. I read it all in a few hours, hoping learn strategies and the like. I was shocked to see that he devoted a chapter to identifying people he doesn't like. In addition, he has a section outlining the phone calls and activities of a normal week, which was boring and came across as bragging. Unfortunately, this book is a loser. If you are curious, borrow it--it is not worth the money.

Summary: Please no more of these get rich scheming books!
Review: Trump jumping very late onto a tired old run down band wagon.
How many get rich schemes have we had? A sickening self-help book. How do you get rich? Write a book called "How to Get Rich" and charge a fortune for it. It's been done already.
Every college finance major learns those tricks of the trade. Go study finance, instead of buying this book!

Summary: Save your Money!
Review: This man is Bankrupt! Even his show will not save him. Goodbye, Donald!!!!

Summary: Definition of narcissism -A good laugh-but self serving
Review: The title is misleading. The title made me think, I would learn how to grow my networth. Trump should have more appropriately called it; How I was rich, and leveraged myself to more wealth, for now. Trump is a huge risk taker. The average person could easily lose all with employing the same risk taking that Trump does.

Trump is SO egotistical that he doesn't tune into the average reader at all.

It's quite self serving that he says you could make as much money on the roulette wheel as the stock market. Both are risky, but investing in companies is much different than gambling on a roulette wheel.

His advice about a prenup may have worked for his lifestyle, but hopefully most people want a real partnership.

His advice about screaming expletives on the phone is odd.

I did laugh out loud. That has some value.

Summary: The King of the Blowhards...
Review: There is not one word about how one gets "rich." He seems to write a book every so often to launch into more self admiration and promotion. Trump has so be the biggest blowhard of the century. Inheriting a huge sum of money with real estate attached is certainly a great way to get rich.
It will be interesting to watch what happens with his financially troubled casinos.
I have admired many great business people during my life who have done amazing things. I do not admire nor aspire to be anything like Donald Trump. I will never waste another dime on one of his "books". I would imagine that his greatest piece of advice should be "pick your parents well".
What would Trump have done just starting from scratch like anyone else? My guess is that we wouldn't be reading any of his worthless books.

Summary: A collection of tips about how to be a better entrepreneur
Review: A longer but more accurate title for this book would be, "How to be a Great Entrepreneur Like Me, Donald Trump." If you do not have your own company to manage, not much in this book will help you directly to get rich. This book is not for the novice wealth seeker. For example, Donald tells you to live large as you pursue your riches. Well, you can't do that if you don't have any money to start with.

The general investment advice that Mr. Trump offers is very brief, simple and valid. He tells the reader to invest in things he understands. In modern times, doesn't Warren Buffet have a copyright on that phrase? On page 32 Donald makes a point that I think all potential entrepreneurs should read and heed. He writes that having an IQ of 170 and being well educated will not be enough if you do not have the right instincts. He, from his rich experience, knows that not everybody has the right instincts. How refreshing. Many other how-to-get-rich writers, for example, Suze Orman, seem to suggest that everyone can do well for themselves financially if only they learn to follow their instincts.

On page 52 Mr. Trump tells the reader to toot his own horn because nobody else will. Anybody who has tried promoting anything knows how true that is. And this book is another toot on Donald Trump's horn. But that does not mean that some people cannot gain something from it.

I only recommend this book to entrepreneurs, and would-be entrepreneurs, who are ready to work long and hard like Donald Trump. But before you buy this book take a look inside and you will see that it is actually a very small book. Take out all the white (empty) space and all the photos (no advice to be gained from them), and the book shrinks significantly. I don't want you to feel cheated by the relatively small quantity of words.

I only deduct one star because his stories are interesting, and the tips/advice leave me with an impression that I may have gained an insight that someday, somewhere, might help me make a correct financial decision.

Summary: Think Big and Live Large.
Review: What a wonderful book!!! Tons of information that very person who want to be rich should know. Of cause some people will see this book title mean--buy me and you will get rich! But the truth is if you have faith in what you do, and really commit to it, you will be rich.
Don't blaim the book about "I can't get rich, after I read it". Think through all the information it shows to you, and then acting on it. If you don't do anything to improve your life, there will not be anybody push you to do it.

Summary: Enjoyed the book, but...
Review: This is a good book, but it's not really about How to Get Rich. It is more about Trumps managing style. I do like the short and to the point chapters, but you are not going to learn how to get rich.

If getting rich is your idea, then buy "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

Summary: The "Trump" Card
Review: Donald has done it again with How to Get Rich! He knows how to play the trump card in investments, real estate, various lines of business, etc. You can't lose, get this book!
