Summary: Shallow and Empty
Review: I really like Donald Trump... as a person. He is charming and entertaining. But I have serious concerns about the message he is sending to Americans. We Americans seem to equate "success" as "making lots of money," even though the "successful" person may be a poor citizen and morally reprehensible. There are many ways to be successful: good citizen, good craftsman, good parent, and so on. This book is little more than a collection of poorly reasoned platitudes and egocentric opinions. My advice is that you should save your money and read Aristotle instead.

Summary: Interesting
Review: I bought the book because I followed The Apprentice and I like to find out what makes rich and successful people, well, rich and successful. After reading it, I'm not sure I learned quite enough to make myself either, but I did enjoy the tidbits about the Apprentice. So I recommended checking it out.
Oh, and call me crazy, but I like The Donald's hair the way it is.

Summary: Characteristic Bravado
Review: Before reading this book you have to understand is that with Trump what you see is what you get. If you decide to take him seriously then indeed he does display the characteristics of an arrogant, self-serving business leader. However, if you take this book for what it is, a how to guide that's made to entertain, you can get much more out of it. Some of the more useful aspects of the book come from the chapters where he talks about his daily activities, including his habit of reading from 5 am to 8 am. Without reading the book you really wouldn't have known that the Donald was a vociferous reader or that he doesn't gamble, smoke, or drink, although his business ventures encourage the gambling.

When it talks about doing what he loves in business and the advantages that it has on people, it's pretty clear that he lives in his own little world. With 20,000 people in his organization and a flurry of personal assistants shielding him from the thoughts of America, it's pretty evident that he'll be continually acting this way for the rest of these days. If you haven't seen the Dateline special in which he is interviewed about the book, one quote is worth remembering. Stone Philips asks him about his chapter imploring people to get a prenuptial agreement to which he responses "if I hadn't had those strong prenups I wouldn't be speaking with you today, unless you were doing a special on losers." Now I don't know how he feels in real life, but that in itself was entertaining. Anyway, save your money and just know that even people at the top spend a good amount of their time during the day reading, a practice we can all learn from the Donald.

Summary: Donald Trump is a Hero, I'm a Huge Fan!
Review: My Dad bought me Donald Trump's first book years ago, The Art Of The Deal. I was facinated on how this man rose to be so Huge. He is everywhere these days!I am also a big fan of the TV show, The Apprentice. Now this book? I'm in paradise. Also, if you are into great fiction, I'd like to recommend the book, "He Never Called Again". So there you have it, three books to consider.

Summary: Reviews From Other Billionaires
Review: It absolutely amazes me how people who aren't even close to being at the level of achievement as Mr. Donald Trump are able to give such a poor rating and opinion of his words.
FIVE BILLION DOLLARS is what he is worth? Let's calculate that out per month. $5,000,000,000 divided by 12 months =

A MERE $416,666,666.66 PER MONTH!!

Anyone reading this review make close to that per month? If you do I'll read your words and do my best to glean some helpful hints to improve my financial empire!! Come on people, get a clue!! If you get one shred of help from reading the words of a MULTI-BILLIONAIRE IS IT WORTH THE MEASLEY FEW BUCKS YOU PAY FOR IT!! Yes it is!! The book is worth 100 times more than what I paid because this is coming from a man who not only made it to the ultimate top but hasn't slowed down yet!! We get to see an inside glimpse of the mind of a billionaire!! So go ahead and don't buy the book if you are broke, and lack the intelligence to open your mind and maybe learn something. And please let someone else benefit from his knowledge and vast experiences of how he has made a ton of money!! He has taken the time to share this book with the rest of the world. If you are smart you will take the time out of your life to read it.

Summary: Daddy "Warbucks"
Review: Wow what a story! Who could think that in America, one man all by himself could could take his fathers fortune and actually add to it! Hey who cares if he went bankrupt and blackmailed the banks into bailing him out. He is a true pop icon. An insperation for young men and women everywhere.

Summary: Darling, I Love You, but Give Me Park Avenue!
Review: I'm wondering if the people who've panned this book are: angry with themselves for not doing anything with their lives; for not doing "their thing" to the best of their ability; or if they're one of these people who have suddenly realized they live in an armpit of America and resent "big city folk."

Also, a word to Floyd of North Carolina: Your money would have been better spent in purchasing the latest edition of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and a copy of "Strunk and White's."

Oh, but the book! I enjoyed it simply because I'm interested in what makes successful people tick. At times, I do think Trump is obnoxious and stuck in an 80's mindset, but I also feel he's earned the right. Would you be shuffling down 5th Avenue with your head down if you were in his shoes?

Summary: Nasty rich guy writes self-serving book! Get your copies now
Review: Donald Trump, a combination huckster-workaholic-ripoff artist, is the Wotan of the present day: scheming, conniving, power-hungry, totally unscrupulous as long as his ends are served.

If you admire this philosophy and lifestyle, by all means buy the book. You will learn how to be arrogant, scheming and use the talents of others to make yourself look good.

Summary: worthless
Review: it's amazing that this book is #12 for amazon's sales rank. there're no content in this book. it's all about trump glorifying his company and him himself, and advertising his golf courses and luxury apartments. he keeps on emphasizing how great he is and and how how high his expectations are, though without any details that would be useful to the readers.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It is all between the ears!
Review: Donald Trump writes in this book the attributes of what is like to be a successful entrepreneur. The main ingredient Donald uses to become rich has everything to do with using a brain successfully. Read the book and at least be aware of the many attributes it takes to truly be a success in business.
