Review: 101 Things a College Girl Should Know... is a guide for college women filled with practical and down-to-earth advice. It is an essential list of instructions for every high school senior preparing for college and the current student who could use a refresher course in the basics of surviving university life.
The book is based on tips I gave my younger sister as a high school graduation present. I thought of all the things I wish I knew when I was a freshman and all the things I did wrong. I wrote 101 Things a College Girl Should Know... so she could benefit from my hard-earned wisdom.

Review: 101 Things, by Stephanie Edwards is something I wish I had read before I went away to school. It truely is the Cliff's notes of college life! I wouldn't have made nearly the number of mistakes I did, had I had a copy of 101 Things. This book is the perfect going away or care package gift for that "soon to be away at college" co-ed. I especially liked hint 59. What is it, you ask? Well, you will just have to buy the book to find out!
My only complaint is that the book isn't longer! I hope Stephanie has another gem in the works!

Review: Do yourself a favor and get yourself a real college hand book like "College 101 : The Book Your College Doesn't Want You to Read" instead of this one. "101 Things a College Girl Should Know" could have been written on a cocktail napkin, and probably was. The kinds of advice given here can be given better and cheaper as advice from a grandmother or mother, and probably ARE given better and cheaper by both grandmothers and mothers. While I'll give the book cute, it isn't $5.00 worth of cute, and when you go to college, cute isn't really what you need. You need facts. "College 101 : The Book Your College Doesn't Want You to Read" will give you those facts. This book, while giving you a few laughs will drain your pocket and leave you unprepared to face college.

Summary: Oh, please.....
Review: Honestly, it is just amazing to me that an author can make money from a publication (I refuse to even refer to this as a "book") with the kind of obvious advice that amounts to "Be careful at night, study hard and eat all your vegatables". Don't waste your money on this, this book can be read in 5 minutes in any store without paying for it. Several other reviewers have recommended more helpful and meaty sources of helpful advice for the college student and I concur. Pass this one up.
