Rating: Summary: Must resource Review: This book is the most useful undergraduate admissions book. You do not have to read the whole book if you are in a time crunch; you can read just the sections pertinent to your case. Rating: Summary: Best book on how to get into a top bschool Review: This is by far the best book on how to get into a top business school. When I applied to bschool a couple of years back, I bought half a dozen books on how to get into a top bschool and Richard Montauk's book was by far the most insightful and impactful. The book is well-researched and features insights from several interviews with admission directors. It also features detailed analyses of application essays and applicants, and application strategies. I was very impressed by the wealth of information that Montauk was able to pull together. If you buy only one book on how to get into a top bschool, this should be it. Although Marketing Yourself to the Top Business Schools is another good book, it's not as comprehensive and insightful as Montauk's work. Another good one is Tom Fischgrund's Insider's Guide to the Top Bschools.
